Skydiving For Dustin

Today was an Exhilarating Day!!! The Skydive for Dustin, My Beloved Son…. The Scattering of the Last of His Ashes….. Spring Equinox…. A Time of New Beginnings….We headed out to the Drop Zone at Red Rock Skydiving at about 10:30AM. Joining us were Annie (My Sister) and “Bean” Our Dear Family Friend. Kristen and her friends Whitney, Eric, and Chris suited up and prepared to board the plane which would take them to 12,000 feet above Sedona. It took about 20 minutes for the plane to climb to that elevation. During their flight, they circled above The Sacred Red Rocks of Sedona which includes “Secret Mountain” which was Dustin’s favorite hiking spot in Sedona.

As we watched with anticipation, wondering if we would be able to see anything….. We finally saw the plane over head and all you could see was a shining speck in the sky. Then all of a sudden four little dots were moving in the sky….. And Then….. All of a sudden…. There was an amazing Explosive Stream of what looked like white smoke which filled the sky and began to swirl….. It was AMAZING!!!!! If I could even begin to explain the excitement of what we saw, it would be something like the very first time I ever saw a fireworks display and gasped with excitement of what I was seeing!!

Absolutely Amazing!!! “Dust In The Wind”…. That’s what I saw….. And then, as the swirling continued….. we saw the most amazing thing….. A Heart…. Dustin’s Heart…. Formed in the sky before it began to dissipate…… Then permeating into the Air and becoming ONE with Heaven.

I am feeling like I was actually up in the air with Kristen and Her Crew….. Dustin is Now Set Free in All Ways…. I feel like his Spirit is Expansive and has become One With All That Is…. As He So Believed…..

I feel SO thankful to Kristen who wanted to Honor Her Brother in this way, keeping her promise to him, to do His 2nd jump with Her on the Spring Equinox of this Year.. And I am so Thankful to Whitney and Eric for coming all the way to Sedona to fulfill Dustin and Kristen’s Dream. And, My Thanks go out to Bean, Dustin’s lifelong friend, and a member of our Family, for being here with us every step of the way.

Whitney said…. “I don’t know of Anyone who has ever had FIVE ceremonies to honor them after their passing”…. Dustin Was and Is such a Special Soul, who I knew from the day he passed, that He Deserved the Best send off ever….. And it was…. Love, Love, Love….. xo

Thank You to All of You who emailed us and Held us So Profoundly in Your Hearts on this Day……. xoxo

With Much Love,
Liz & Kristen
